The Lubbock City Lights Charity Ball will take place this Saturday, April 24th at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center. We have included some helpful details about our event below.
Before the event:
Attire for the City Lights Charity Ball is Black Tie Optional. Men wear a black tuxedo or a dark suit, and women may wear a full-length evening gown, dressy cocktail dress, or formal separates.
Upon Arrival:
For your convenience, valet parking is available for $4 per vehicle at the main entrance. You may also self-park in the Overton's north lot or in designated areas close to the hotel.
Cocktail hour will begin at 6:00pm. We will be offering beer and wine at our host bars throughout the evening. Other cocktails can be purchased at the cash bar. This is the perfect time to enjoy beverages, live music, and browse our many silent auction items.
Program Details:
Dinner will be served at 7:00pm. The live auction is set to begin at 8:00pm, followed by an evening of dancing. We are pleased to offer many unique and diverse items in this year's auction including weekend getaways, sports memorabilia, works from Lubbock's artists, and much more. Preferred forms of payment for auction items are cash or check.
